Iker Casillas, Alvero Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos and Raul Albiol have now all received diplomas certifying them as qualified sporting directors.
The Spanish quartet completed a course studying towards the qualification at the Spanish Football Federation’s offices last year and this week were presented with their certificates.
On behalf of the RFEF and overseeing the course, Jorge Carretero travelled out to Geneva and presented Casillas, Arbeloa, Ramos and Albiol with their diplomas.
The players are currently in Switzerland on international duty, preparing for Tuesday evening’s friendly with Chile.
The qualification has the four as able to work in an official capacity at a club as a sporting director.
Arbeloa took to his Twitter account to joke: “Here’s to the future sporting directors. The next Bale will be signed by us.”
