Atletico Madrid forward Leo Baptistao has reflected on his first few months at the club after his summer move from Rayo Vallecano.

The Brazilian striker joined the Rojiblancos after an impressive season last time out with the Franjirrojos.

And the youngster has noted the differences between the two clubs, whilst also commenting on their objectives for the campaign.

“I’m thrilled to be here,” he told AS. “Rayo and Atleti play different styles of football, but I think I’m adapting okay.

“Simeone asks his players to never stop working, never lower the intensity.

“We have reinforced the squad with some phenomenal players, but I think things will stay the same in the League.

“We’re looking forward to the Champions League though. It’s the best competition out there.”
