Isco has withdrawn from the Spain squad after medical examinations confirmed the true extent of an ankle injury.
The knock left the Real Madrid playmaker out of the game against Finland on Firiday, and the Blancos man has today left the Roja squad after tests revealed the injury has not healed properly.
The youngster has returned to Madrid and will take no part in the friendly with Chile on Tusday.
