Spain striker Alvaro Negredo has refused to be drawn on the national team’s goalkeeping conundrum.
La Roja face Finland this Friday in a World Cup qualifier in Helsinki, but Coach Vicente Del Bosque will have the tough task of deciding between Iker Casillas, Victor Valdes and Pepe Reina.
But the Manchester City forward has declined to comment on who his No.1 would be.
“We are lucky in the fact that we have three good goalkeepers,” he told EFE. “It is up to the Coach to decide.
“It’s hard for Casillas at Real Madrid, because they have another great goalkeeper in Diego Lopez.
“I know Iker is great, but the Coach has to decide, and whatever the decision you have to respect it.
“I’m sure with Finland we’ll come up against a tight system which will be hard to break down. But we have a lot of quality, so it’s important to get a victory.
“The competition within the squad is very tough, but you give everything to play – and if you don’t get in you support the team.”
