Pablo Piatti has reportedly accepted an offer to join Getafe, but the Madrid side must first move out Alvaro Vazquez.
Piatti has been increasingly expected through this summer as on his way out of Valencia, even as moves abroad to Russia and France both failed to materialise.
Thought to be based on the Argentine winger’s reluctance to leave Spain, Getafe have since come in and are believed set to pick up the 24-year-old.
Whilst the player has agreed to lower his current salary to help Los Azulones fund the move, it is understood that the club must first move out someone else.
This is understood predominantly to be Alvaro Vazquez, who has attracted attention from Swansea City.
