Barcelona have confirmed that Sergio Busquets has now put pen to paper on a new contract at the club.
The midfielder was officially confirmed late last week as having agreed a package to stay on at the Camp Nou for a further three years, to commit him through to June 2018.
Arriving at the club’s offices today as planned, the player has now been confirmed by Barca’s official website as having signed the new deal.
Busquets, who at the age of 25 already has 14 major honours to his name for club and country, sees his buyout clause set at €150m.
President Sandro Rosell, Vice-President Josep Maria Bartomeu and sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta were all present at the contract signing today.
