Valencia are expected to have new signing Dorlan Pabon arrive at the club on Tuesday, after continued delays in his home country.
Los Che have all but completed formalities on a €7.5m purchase from Monterrey, through exercising a buyout clause in the former Real Betis man’s contract.
However, the player has seen his arrival at Mestalla delayed somewhat, due to struggles to resolve necessary bureaucratic issues in his homeland of Colombia beforehand.
The issues have now, say Superdeporte, delayed the 25-year-old’s departure for Spain until at least Tuesday afternoon, before a presentation the following day.
Pabon’s availability for a debut in Week 3’s home tie with Barcelona is thrown into doubt as a result, as he will only be able to begin training with Miroslav Djukic’s side from Wednesday.
