Sevilla boss Unai Emery has praised this weekend’s opponent Atletico Madrid, claiming that the capital club are ‘the third best team’.
The Rojiblancos host Diego Simeone’s men in their first match of the campaign, and the Coach has claimed that it will be a great encounter.
“Atleti have proven to be the third best team on merit,” he told a Press conference.
“I demand a lot from my players, but we know it will be tough.
“It motivates us all starting against them.”
The tactician then commented on the likely arrival of Vicente Iborra.
“We are still waiting for the move to be formalised. But I believe he can benefit from coming here.
“In recent years I have followed him a lot.”
