Cristian Tello has admitted he is ‘proud’ to have been called up to the Spain squad as they prepare to face Ecuador.
La Roja play the South Americans on Wednesday, and the Barcelona forward has insisted that he is joining ‘the best team in the world’.
“I am proud to be a part of this group,” he told a Press conference. “It is a team of champions.
“I am very happy and would love to make my debut against Ecuador.
“Everyone in the team wants to play well, keep hold of the ball.
“That’s why they’ve shown they are the best team in the world.”
