Del Bosque hints at retirement

Vicente Del Bosque has refused to comment on whether he will retire from management after the World Cup next summer.

The Spain boss will be 63 by the time the tournament comes around next June, but the Coach has claimed that his only focusing is qualifying for Brazil.

“I will decide in due course,” he told reporters. “That could well be the case.

“But the important thing now is to qualify because we still have a few games to go.”

The tactician then commented on the young squad he named for the friendly against Ecuador on Wednesday.

“For there to be continued success we have to stick to the set guidelines.

“There is no going back from that.”
