Helder Postiga has admitted he is ‘very happy’ to have signed a two-year deal with Valencia.
Los Che paid Real Zaragoza €3m for the Portugal international, but the striker has insisted that he is not a replacement for Roberto Soldado.
“I am very happy to have joined a club like Valencia,” he told reporters. “I will try to help the team become even better.
“I am looking forward to joining the group and starting work with my colleagues.
“I have come to Valencia to work hard. Soldado was a very important player for this club, but this is a new cycle now.”
