Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois believes that the club’s South American tour has been a positive experience.
The capital club travelled to Argentina and Uruguay for preseason matches, and the goalkeeper has claimed that it was a good few weeks.
“We’re a little tired from the trip,” he told reporters. “But now we have a day off and can recover for a bit.
“I believe that the tour has been good – we have continued to work well.
“We’ve all come away with good feelings.
“We’ve played against some good teams in some great stadiums.
“It’s been like League games, and that’s important.”
