Nacho Fernandez has insisted he is ‘happy’ with his role at Real Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti.
The 23-year-old played 45 minutes as Los Blancos overcame Everton 2-1 in Los Angeles.
And the full-back has claimed he is working well with the Italian tactician, and can’t wait for the next preseason game against either Milan or Chelsea.
“We've been lucky to be winning these games and personally I'm happy with the minutes I play and I feel fine,” he told the club’s official website.
“Everton were going hard for a long time. They were a quality opponent to measure ourselves against and to test our conditioning.
“What we had to do was just get ahead.
“Now it's time to play the final and it'll be against either of two great teams.”
