Jose Antonio Reyes’ injury is neither ‘minor nor very serious’ according to Coach Unai Emery.
The attacker pulled up after just 17 minutes of the Rojiblancos’ Europa League win over Mladost Pogdorica on Thursday, complaining over knee trouble.
The tactician admitted to reporters he was not overly concerned with the 29-year-old, but a test today could not be completed because of the swelling.
Reyes will now rest the knee before undergoing more examinations next week to determine the full extent of the damage.
