Diego Simeone has admitted that his Atletico Madrid side were outplayed by Estudiantes in Saturday's friendly.
The Rojiblancos lost 1-0 to their South American rivals yesterday, and the Argentine tactician has conceded that his men were totally bewitched by the veteran Juan Sebastian Veron.
“Veron played a very nice game,” he told a Press conference. “He really was very good.
“Hopefully he'll continue in that form for the championship.
“Estudiantes simply played better than us, especially in the first half.
“We didn't look particularly comfortable, but that is normal at this stage of preseason.”
