Carlo Ancelotti yesterday arrived in the Spanish capital and is today reported as having already begun work at Real Madrid.
The Italian, who was brought in on a three-year contract this summer to replace Jose Mourinho, yesterday flew in from vacation to Madrid.
Ahead of welcoming the players not involved in the Confederations Cup back to preseason training on Monday, Madrid have confirmed that Ancelotti has already begun work.
The 54-year-old has been working from early on Sunday morning at the club’s training facilities at Ciudad Real Madrid, alongside assistant Coaches Paul Clement and Zinedine Zidane.
The trio are confirmed by the club as having started planning out preseason preparations. Next Sunday will see Los Blancos kick-off their friendly campaign with a game at Bournemouth.
