The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have today announced that they will meet Italy in an international friendly in March.
The two teams, who faced each other in the semi-finals of this year’s Confederations Cup in Brazil, will meet on March 5, 2014, in a city yet to be determined.
La Roja have faced the Azzurri four times in the last two years alone, with August 2011’s friendly in Bari followed by group stage and final clashes at Euro 2012 and finally this summer’s recent meeting in Fortaleza.
