Pareja promises commitment

Nico Pareja has promised Sevilla his utmost effort and determination to help the club push towards perhaps Champions League qualification.

The Argentine centre-back was picked up last week on a season long loan deal from Spartak Moscow and today presented to the media.

“I am very fussy about my work, nobody is going to demand more from my than myself,” began Pareja to reporters today.

“With hard work and sacrifice, the results will come. Sacrifice, desire and responsibility are things that cannot be traded.

“As a player and a person I will surrender to the fullest and that is what defines me as a player. I always give it my all and I will do anything for my teammates, for this shirt and for this club.

“As a player, my hope is that this group will become strong and get the results.

“Our objective? In a big club like this, it is always the same, to fight upwards.

“We know that in this League it seems hard to compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid, but we have to be up there near the Champions League positions, which is where we should be and what we will fight for.

“From what I have seen so far, my teammates have great enthusiasm and desire to work and achieve these goals. We have to be there or close come the end of the season.”
