Spain have been knocked out of the Under-20 World Cup at the quarter-final stage after an agonising extra-time defeat to Uruguay.
Julen Lopetegui’s men were beaten 1-0 by the South Americans on Saturday evening, thanks to a 103rd minute winner from Felipe Avenatti.
Uruguay now play either Iraq or South Korea in the last four.
