Malaga close in on Anderson

Malaga are set to make their second signing of the summer, with a deal for Bobley Anderson set to be concluded.

The Anchovies are expected to this week pick up the Ivory Coast-capped attacking midfielder from Wydad de Casablanca.

It is understood that the club are in an advanced stage of negotiations for the 21-year-old, who has in recent months reportedly attracted interest from a number of teams in Europe, including Real Madrid.

Anderson is seen as part of Malaga’s new low-cost transfer approach and will serve as one replacement to the departed Joaquin Sanchez and Isco.

The youngster will be the Costa del Sol’s second purchase of the summer, on from centre-back Flavio Ferreira’s capture last month.
