Real Sociedad have confirmed that they have agreed by mutual consent to rescind Joseba Llorente’s contract this summer.
The striker signed for the San Sebastian outfit in 2010, but spent last season on loan at Osasuna and has generally struggled in front of goal.
La Real have confirmed in a short statement today that they have now released the 33-year-old, having come to an agreement with the player to cut short his contract this summer.
Llorente originally had another season left on his deal, but is now a free agent.
