Barcelona defender Marc Bartra says his dreams came true last season after forcing his way into Tito Vilanova’s side.
“I’m very happy because I fulfilled a dream, which was to get into the Barca first team.
“From a personal perspective I enjoyed the good moments but the bad ones served to make me learn and continue improving,” he told the club’s official website.
The 22-year-old says he will be taking advantage of the next few days to rest after his exertions with the victorious Spain Under-21 team in the European Championships in Israel.
“The fact that we ended the season as European Champions means I have the peace of mind to relax, although after that I need to turn my attentions to pre-season,” he explained.
