David Villa’s agent will continue talks with Tottenham next week, but according to reports in the English Press, Spurs are unwilling to pay €15m for the forward.
The Spain international has been heavily linked with a move away from Camp Nou this summer, with the Premier League side consistently rumoured to be a likely destination.
However, The Guardian have claimed that Andre Villas-Boas’ men do not want to pay the €15m asking price the Blaugrana have set for the 31-year-old.
The British newspaper believes that personal terms can be agreed between the White Hart Lane side and the former Valencia man, with talks between the player and the club set for next week.
Villa’s age and history of injuries are though, putting Tottenham off paying so much for the striker.
