Iniesta hopes for Barca stay

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has admitted that his dream is to end his career at Camp Nou.

The 31-year-old's current deal ends in 2015, but the playmaker has claimed that he wants to be with the Blaugrana until his retirement.

“My dream is to end my career here,” he told Sport. “We all want the same thing, so hopefully a renewal will come quickly.”

The Spain international then commented on the Confederations Cup currently being played in Brazil.

“We started well and we want to continue that way,” he added. “We wanted to qualify for the semi-finals, and that's what we've done.

“We are all pleased with how things have gone.

“I am a bit surprised by the reactions we have been getting from the crowds – we are well received here.”
