Real Betis will later today mark the one-year anniversary since Miki Roque’s death with the unveiling of a memorial at the Benito Villamarin.
Former Liverpool and Betis defender Roque died on June 24, 2012 at the age of 23 after losing his fight with pelvic cancer.
To mark the first anniversary of his passing, Betis have announced that they will unveil a memorial to the player at the Gol Norte stand of the Benito Villamarin.
President Miguel Guillen will attend the evening ceremony, which will be free for fans wishing to attend.
