Madrid in Qatar for Ancelotti

Real Madrid’s Jose Angel Sanchez is out in Qatar in an attempt to secure Carlo Ancelotti, just as Florentino Perez anticipates his signature.

The Italian has seen negotiations to try and be released from his contract at Paris Saint-Germain so far turned down by the French, out of their believed reluctance to part ways without first having a replacement lined up.

With it widely understood that Ancelotti’s request is so as to join Madrid in the summer, reports today are that Los Blancos have now gotten involved in trying to accelerate the process.

Marca report that CEO Sanchez has flown out to Qatar to meet with PSG’s owners, in an attempt to arrange Ancelotti’s release.

It is believed that in holding three days of talks so far with them that Sanchez is optimistic that an agreement can be reached and signed by Monday.

This eventuality, however, would see Madrid forced to pay the €4m compensation that the French have been after, going against Florentino Perez’ reported stance.

Meanwhile, it is also reported today that Perez is meeting with Ernesto Bronzetti, Ancelotti’s agent, to ratify the Italian’s probable arrival next week.
