Ignacio Camacho is a doubt to make Spain’s semi-final with Norway this Saturday in the UEFA Under-21 Championship through injury.
The Malaga man picked up a grade II sprain to his left ankle early into the second half of La Rojita’s 3-0 win over the Netherlands on Wednesday evening.
Whilst initial reports indicated that the midfielder could return in time for contention this weekend, he is now described as a doubt.
Camacho’s ankle remains swollen and his progress in training on Friday afternoon will reportedly have the final say on his place on Saturday.
