Joaquin Sanchez is on the verge of leaving Malaga, as an agreement for his transfer to Serie A side Fiorentina is reached.
The 31-year-old travelled out to Tuscany on Wednesday to undergo a medical and complete the formalities of a proposed transfer.
Whilst a contract is yet to be signed, both the Anchovies and La Viola yesterday evening confirmed that an agreement for the winger’s transfer has been reached.
“ACF Fiorentina and Malaga CF announce they have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of Joaquin Sanchez Rodriguez,” read Fiorentina’s brief statement, whilst Malaga’s went further by thanking Joaquin for his two years at La Rosaleda.
