Victor Valdes and David Villa have both been confirmed as starters for Spain in this week’s friendly against the Republic of Ireland.
Neither player featured in Friday’s friendly against Haiti in Miami, but both have been confirmed by Vicente del Bosque at his Press conference as starting in New York in La Roja’s second and final warm-up match for the Confederations Cup.
Spain are based in Central Park, Manhattan, ahead of Wednesday’s 1am UK time kick-off this week.
