Sevilla striker Manu del Moral is on Villarreal’s radar after their promotion back to the top flight last weekend.
The Andalusians are attempting to reduce a €50m debt and, despite Jesus Navas’ move to Manchester City being worth anywhere between €23m and €28m, are still willing to listen to offers for at least half their squad.
Del Moral, whose future appears to be away from the club after making just 19 La Liga appearances last term, signed a five-year contract with Los Nervionenses when joining from Getafe for €4.5m in May 2011.
However, according to El Desmarque, Sevilla will not stand in his way if they receive any reasonable offer, a fact that has alerted Villarreal boss Marcelino Garcia Toral who had Del Moral under his tutelage in his time at the Sanchez Pizjuan.
Even so, the Yellow Submarine do not want to take the 29-year-old on a permanent arrangement and will instead try to lure Del Moral to El Madrigal with an initial loan deal.
