Pep Guardiola’s brother and agent has revealed the former Barcelona Coach’s preparations for taking over Bayern Munich this summer.
After a sabbatical from the sport last summer, the 42-year-old will replace Jupp Heynckes at the treble winners and, as his brother has reflected today, he will be speaking German from day one.
“Pep has been studying as always, obsessively, four hours every day, like a madman,” Spiegel today quote Pere Guardiola, who helped negotiate his brother’s contract with the Bundesliga outfit.
“It is absurd. You meet your brother for lunch and the guy is speaking German continuously with his teacher.
“Will his first Bayern conference be in German? He is a stubborn dog, he will do it.”
