Granada and Lucas Alcaraz have reached a ‘tentative agreement’ to continue to work together into next season.
The Coach made a return to the club at the end of January, replacing Juan Antonio Anquela, and successfully managed to steer the side clear of relegation with one round of the season remaining.
The Andalucians’ form in their final six rounds of the League was bettered only by Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Despite speculation that the club was considering taking a different direction in the summer, reports this week have it that a ‘tentative agreement’ is in place for Alcaraz to sign a new contract at the club to continue into next year.
This follows a meeting this week held between Alcaraz, President Quique Pina and sporting director Juan Carlos Cordero.
