Luis Suarez has reflected that his international colleague Edinson Cavani is worth €63m, for having raised Napoli to another level.
Alongside Suarez, who today confirmed his intention to leave Liverpool, Cavani is linked with a number of clubs this summer including Real Madrid, but currently has a €63m buyout clause.
“Cavani is an incredible player,” Suarez commented to Uruguayan media this week.
“He has done some amazing this with this Napoli team.
“Napoli aren't so good, but Cavani has raised them up to a different level.
“Each club establishes its own strategy and makes its own valuation, but I think €63m is a fair figure for someone as good as Cavani.
“He is worth that sort of money.”
