Spain Under-21 Coach Julen Lopetegui has admitted that his side go into the European Championships with 'great enthusiasm'.
La Roja go into the tournament in Israel as holders and favourites, and the tactician has insisted that his team are fully focused on winning.
“The players are concentrating as hard as possible,” he told a Press conference. “We have to try and be at a high level and play our natural game.
“We will work as normal, but we don't want to harm the kids.
“We go into the tournament with optimism though. There is great enthusiasm from the squad.
“It's going to be a demanding championship.
“We play Russia first, who are a formidable team. They have some strong players and will be a real test.”
