Barcelona have signed Adriano Correia to an improved four-year contract, ending speculation of a summer exit.
The Brazilian utility man was seen as in talks with Barca over a new deal since the end of 2012, but having seen those negotiations stall, reports were growing of a possible sale this summer.
Paris Saint-Germain were apparently interested and had reportedly presented the 28-year-old with an offer for this summer, as he entered the final year of his Barca contract.
However, the Catalans have confirmed this week that the Brazilian has in fact agreed terms with them over a new deal, seeing him sign on at the Camp Nou until June 2017, with his buyout clause remaining set at €90m.
Adriano has been with Barcelona since a 2010 summer transfer from Sevilla for an initial cost of €9.5m.
