David Albelda is seen as likely to at least reconsider his decision to leave Valencia at the end of this season.
The veteran confirmed earlier in the campaign his 95 per cent certainty that he will leave Mestalla at the end of his contract this summer, after 18 years at the club.
However, in light of recent form and regular playing time for Los Che, Superdeporte say that the 35-year-old will now not rule for certain until the season is over, with it thought likely that he may reconsider his decision.
Sporting director Braulio Vazquez is seen as having yet to open renegotiations with the captain, but has indicated that Albelda’s future at the club depends only on his decision.
