Deulofeu in Under-20 squad

Barcelona B’s Gerard Deulofeu has been named in the latest Spain Under-20 squad, indicating that he won’t be going to the European Under-21 Championship.

The attacking winger has recently stepped up to La Rojita’s Under-21 level and played in three times in late 2012, managing a goal and an assist in Spain’s qualifying match against Croatia.

However, on from Spain reaching the European Under-21 Championship in Israel this coming summer, speculation is that Deulofeu will not be included, having been named today in the latest Under-20 squad.
