Pellegrini: Three points are crucial

Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that three points against Real Madrid tomorrow are 'crucial'.

The Andalusian club travel to Santiago Bernabeu looking for the three points that could take them above Valencia, into fifth.

And the Chilean Coach has claimed that a win is vital if they are to make the European places.

“Coming home with three points from this match is crucial for us,” he told a Press conference.

“Since the beginning of the season we’ve been determined to finish as high up the League table as possible.

“If we can qualify for European football after the amazing year we’ve had, it’d be a huge success for us.

“Tomorrow we’ll be focused on coming back to Malaga with three much-needed points.

“There’s a lot at stake for us, and we’ll all be over the moon to reach European positions.

“When you’re up against a team like Real Madrid, it’s always going to be an extremely hard-fought match.

“If we think for one minute that we’ll find ourselves in front of a team focused on other things, or we’ll find it relatively easy to claim the three points, then we couldn’t be more wrong.”
