Sergio Ramos has admitted to Iker Casillas’ recent struggles, but also commented on the united effort Real Madrid are making at the moment.
Discussion has continued to surround Jose Mourinho’s refusal to reintroduce Casillas to the starting line-up, with his comments last week criticised over the weekend by Pepe.
In reiterating President Florentino Perez’ message, Ramos commented on the situation this week.
“Iker has had a tough time,” the defender told reporters from La Sexta.
“We have a long friendship and a one that has also coincided with the national team too. It is good that teammates support Casillas as it is that they support the Coach, and we are all striving for the same goal.
“It is important that we are united.”
