Diego Simeone has admitted that Saturday's draw with Deportivo, which guarantees them Champions League football, is a 'first step'.
The capital club drew 0-0 with the Turcos yesterday evening to claim a place in Europe's premier club competition next season.
The Argentine Coach though, doesn't want his team to rest on their laurels.
“It is a first step for us,” he told a Press conference. “We just want to improve in the four remaining games.
“Deportivo have done well in recent weeks.
“It was a tough match.
“Our feeling is that we were close to a win, but lacked clarity in the final few minutes.”
