Vicente del Bosque will reportedly name his final 23-man Spain squad for the summer’s Confederations Cup on May 27.
AS believe that Del Bosque will name his final selection two days after the Champions League Final before then convening the squad on June 4, when they are due to fly out to the United States.
There they will play two friendly internationals as preparation for the Confederations Cup, against Haiti on June 8 in Miami and the Republic of Ireland on June 11 in New York.
La Roja then begin the summer tournament with Group B’s opening fixture against Uruguay on June 16 in Recife, northeast Brazil.
This will be Spain’s second appearance at the Confederations Cup, after 2009’s third place in South Africa.
