Cesc Fabregas has insisted that the League title is 'very important' to Barcelona after they defeated Levante 1-0 on Saturday evening.
A late goal from the midfielder gave the Blaugrana the victory at Camp Nou, moving them 13 points clear of Real Madrid in second.
And the Spain international has asserted that winning the title is vital.
“It was a very important match. We had to win in order to be closer to winning to the title,” he told the club's official website.
“It seems as though there are people that want to detract value from winning the league, but it’s a very important title.
“We’ve worked very hard.”
