Jose Callejon was pleased with his Real Madrid side after they beat Real Betis on Saturday, but conceded that it was a 'tough match'.
Goals from Karim Benzema and Mesut Ozil gave Los Blancos a 3-1 win over the Verdiblancos at Santiago Bernabeu.
And the capital club's wide-man has admitted that it was a good victory, whilst also commenting on the injuries sustained to Marcelo and Luka Modric.
“It was a tough match, but we knew how to do things right and win,” he told the club's official website.
“It’s clear that Betis is in the Europa League for a reason.
“They play well, they have good players and they do a good job away from their home turf. It was a good score and another win.
“It’s too bad because we had bad luck with Marcelo and Modric, who are a bit hurt.”
