Valencia defender Joao Pereira does not believe that their match against Espanyol is life or death in terms of Champions League qualification.
Los Che travel to Cornelia El-Prat this evening looking for the three points that could take them into fourth place above Real Sociedad.
But the full-back has insisted that three points in Barcelona is not essential.
“This game is not vital for us,” he told a Press conference. “But it is obviously very important.
“There are eight games remaining and getting as many points as possible is important for fourth place.
“Espanyol are a very good team though, full of top quality players.
“We'll have to defend well and be careful of their counter-attacking strength.”
