Atletico Madrid defender Miranda has insisted that his side will do all they can to take second place from Real Madrid.
The Rojiblancos have fallen three points behind their city rivals into third, but the Brazilian has claimed that they fight until the end of the season, starting this weekend against Granada.
“Our aim is to fight for second place,” he told AS. “We will try to get it.
“The first goal is to qualify for the Champions League, and then it is to get second place.
“There are very few games left and the important thing is to win at home.
“We have to be vigilant and get three points against Granada.
“We expect a tough game. We cannot lower our intensity.”
