Real Sociedad’s board are understood to be supportive of staying with Philippe Montanier as Coach, just as he plans with Loren for next season.
Montanier is coming to the end of his second season at Anoeta, with an extension on his current contract expiring in June yet to be offered.
However, Mundo Deportivo report that sporting director Loren and President Jokin Aperribay have been planning details relating to next season with Montanier for the past few weeks, with the view to him signing a renewal in the summer.
It is also seen that the club’s board are now unanimous in their support of sticking with the French tactician too, months on from being previously described as split over whether to do so or not.
Montanier has turned around a difficult run of form in the autumn to take La Real into contention for Champions League qualification.
