Celta Vigo boss Abel Resino has claimed that not all is lost in their bid for survival, despite losing 2-0 to Rayo Vallecano.
Goals from Piti and Andrija Desbasic ensured that the Celestes remained in 19th place and three points off of safety.
But the 53-year-old has insisted that his team can still stay up come the end of the season.
“There are eight games remaining,” he told a Press conference. “We have to go to Mallorca in the next game and win.
“Ranting is worthless. Although there are difficulties, we have to remain.
“We had two decent chances, but we couldn't get the equalizer. My players have to learn how to handle these concerns.
“If we are afraid [of relegation] we will not achieve anything.”
