Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has rubbished suggestions that he could replace Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
The Danish Coach has been linked with a place on the bench at Santiago Bernabeu after an impressive first season in the Premier League.
But the 48-year-old has insisted that he wants to stay at the Liberty Stadium.
“People ask me – 'do you have a dream of training a big team?' and I always say no,” he told AS.
“It is not a dream for me. I start the year with the dream of coaching Madrid or Barcelona, or Manchester United. Then let's say after eight or nine years I got to achieve that dream.
“I get there, and then at the end of the season I lose the Champions League final, finish second in the League by three points and lose on penalties in the cup final – the club will turn round and say 'hey Michael, there is no title. We're going to have to change'.
“Listen, that is obviously not the same as saying that I do not want to go to those teams. Of course I do. And if it comes, it comes. But if it doesn't, it doesn't.
“I don't think Madrid have made any decisions [about next season's Coach]. Nobody has talked to me.
“My relationship with the President [at Swansea] is phenomenal. I want to be here next year.”
