Aly Cissokho has reflected that Spain’s chances of defeating France will depend more on how the French perform.
La Roja are expected to take the game to Les Bleus this evening, as they trail them by two points in World Cup qualification Group I.
For Valencia full-back Cissokho, though, the result will depend on how France counter this, rather than anything Vicente del Bosque’s men offer.
“The Spanish are world and European champions and so there is not much to say,” began the Frenchman to reporters today.
“I think we can win because Spain are a bit loose and we have more options open to us.
“Spain has many options to change tactics and they have many players, but I think it depends tonight on how France play.
“I believe that they will stay in defence and look to counter-attack.
“If it is an open game then Spain will have many more chances than they did against Finland.”
