Low: Spain safely at World Cup

Germany Coach Joachim Low believes that Spain face little real concern in not qualifying for the World Cup.

La Roja’s two draws at home so far in the qualification process for the 2014 edition of the competition in Brazil has left them two points behind Group I leaders France, heading into tonight’s head-to-head in Paris.

However, Low, whose German outfit has more than once been eliminated in major tournaments by the Spanish, does not see their route to the World Cup in jeopardy.

“Spain are under pressure but they will safely be at the World Cup,” Low told L’Equipe this week.

“They will correct the situation immediately.

“And if they are not top of the group then they will impose their strength in the play-offs and they will qualify.

“When it is needed, Spain can always play with class.”
